The FDA now has the gall to say that melamine found in a children formula sample doesn’t pose a health risk.
It wasn’t 6 months ago that the FDA advised that no level of melamine was safe.
The toxic sample was from a Nestle Nutrition Good Start Supreme Infant Formula with Iron. The melamine concentrations were 137 and 140 arts per billion. And now the FDA is saying that less than 1,000 parts per billion is nothing to worry about.
Would the fact that drug companies are their biggest supporters have anything to do with this latest position?
It seems that we can no longer count on the FDA for any kind of health advisory. They just don’t call the shots anymore.
It also seems that melamine wariness has to extend to the other products we ingest, especially farm raised seafood from China.
Well, it looks like to me that eating organic is now more important than ever and getting the poisons out of the body is no longer a maybe thing to do.
It boils down to do you want to live healthily or die horribly.
