Breastfeeding your baby is probably the most overlooked and underutilized method for losing weight after pregnancy out there. Breastfeeding is not just good for your baby, but it is also good for you.
Its benefits are numerous and include the following; a way for you and your baby to bond in a wonderful manner, an increased production of prolactin which is a hormone that calms you down, a way to help you burn several hundreds of calories daily, faster shrinkage of your uterus which stretched due to the baby growing inside of you, and it is nature’s ideal source of nutrients for your baby.
#3 – H2O Not Equal To Toxins!
Is the above equation cryptic? Well, if it is, take solace in the fact that its meaning is not. It simply means that drinking a lot of water will aid you to flush the toxins in your body. You also do not risk becoming dehydrated if you drink a lot of fluids. Finally, your weight loss efforts will be boosted by the reduced volume of toxins in your body.
#4 – Eat? Really? Wow!
Yep! You need to eat even though you desire to lose weight. You want to ensure that you go for foods like vegetables, fruits and fibre, nuts and grains, cereals, milk, oatmeal cookies, and so on. Fibre gives you a feeling of being “filled” and is very important in your weight loss quest.
