Well, the BIG 4 are at it again. I’m talking about Monsanto, Cargill, Tyson and ADM.
They have been busy working behind our backs to entrench themselves as our sole food providers.
How?
By being the ones to draft the “food safety bills” under current consideration, they have positioned themselves in such a way that the new rules would make it extremely hard for independent farmers and ranchers to manage them.
The bills would require such a burdensome complexity of rules, inspections, licensing, fees, and penalties for each farmer who wishes to sell locally — even a fruit stand at a farmers market — that no one could manage it.
With the number of people now reverting back to the ways of our ancestors because the food produced was safe and nutritious, the big conglomerates are running scared and are trying their best to stop this trend.
Where would Monsanto’s “buy only my seed” campaign be left?
And with Codex slowly getting into position to restrict our access to vitamins and supplements and herbs by reducing therapeutic dosages, this bill would just be the crowning glory to complete food control by companies who really only care about the bottom line rather than how safe food is for the consumer.
This has been going on for some time now with no end in site unless we, the consumer, put a stop to it.
Start by speaking with your wallet and support local farmers who strive to give you nutritious and safe foods.
And make your views known by protesting this interference into your right to choose what you want to eat and from whom.
That’s why when I have the opportunity to support an all organic and safe provider, my grocery money gets shifted to that resource which ensures that what I am eating is safe and nutritious.

Hi Marie,
I was shocked to read your article. I haven’t heard of such intentions by this mega group. If this is true, we who are health conscious, had better write to our congressional representatives. Because a vast number of Americans have poor eating habits and exercise little, overweight and disease are already running rampant in the U.S. This intent would only make health far worse if they have their way.
