Recently, research scientists reported that cats fed irradiated food were experiencing severe neurological dysfunction, vision loss and paralysis.

Apparently, myelin, a fatty insulator of nerve fibers, was deteriorating. Once removed from the diet, however, the cats slowly restored myelin sheaths but not as thick as it once was.

Now the FDA is turning a blind eye to these findings as they have all along even after decades of damaging food irradiation data.

Who Benefits from Food Irradiation?

Irradiation was first passed off as a food safety issue to keep dangerous organisms off our food.  But think about it.  Does it not just give big agriculture the right to be sloppy in their growing methods? Then why bother creating safe food to begin with?

Can we avoid irradiate food?

The short answer is yes as all irradiated food is labeled, but you have to read the labels!

Your local farm, certified organic foods are two sources that are unlikely to be irradiated.  Get to know a farmer near you by joining a coop or even better grow your own food.

That path to wellness is not easy anymore.  One has to detoxify daily and eat high nutrient foods just to survive the daily stresses of life.  But it can be done.
