Gardasil protects against 4 strains of HPV which cause about 70 percent of all cervical cancer cases.
However, the virus often never reaches that stage. Our body clears it out on its own.
This information flies in the face of what we are being told.
That stats alone show that there is no cervical cancer epidemic in Canada, nor is cervical cancer especially lethal.
Compared to lung cancer that killed 9,200 women and breast cancer which killed 5,300, cervical cancer only took 380 lives.
Cervical cancer can be detected in its early stages with regular pap tests which have contributed to the continued decrease of cervical cancer since 1960 by about 75%.
So where’s the disease?
Merck Frost, the maker of Gardasil, has been very aggressive in advertising their supposed cure for this non existent epidemic of cervical cancer.
At a cost per dose of about $400, Merck has a lot of profit to look forward to!
Don’t forget, that Merck is the same company that made the anti-inflammatory drug Vioxx, which also got fast track approval and was later pulled from the market after thousands of bad reactions, including heart attacks and strokes were reported.
Harmless side effects of Gardasil which include pain, redness and swelling at the injection site or others such as fainting, vomiting, fever, difficulty breathing, headaches, swollen glands, pancreatitis and miscarriage are not nice but can be dealt with.
What scares me the most is the risk of severe allergic reaction, Guillain-
Barré syndrome and possibly death!
According to the Vaccination Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS), as of July 2008, 20 people who received this vaccine died.
VAERS lists reports such as the case of an 18 year old female who had received her first dose of Gardasil and dies that evening. Her cause of death remains unknown. A 19 year old with no history of medical problems was vaccinated with her first dose and died in her sleep. No reason was detected in an autopsy.
It seems that 11 deaths occurred less than a week after the shot was given and seven occurred in less than 2 days.
The most common diagnosed cause was blood clotting.
This means that blood clotting is responsible for at least 1/4th of the deaths and it should also be noted that most birth control drugs increase one’s risk of developing blood clots too.
Mix the two together and you may get a very dangerous soup.
Lobbying can greatly influence our decisions if we let others make the decisions for us without doing our due diligence.
Gardasil is no different. But with vaccine manufacturers contributing approximately $12.5 million in corporate funds to political activities and with annual sales predicted to reach $1.9 billion this year alone, don’t hold your breath for all of the truth to emerge.
Our governments would do best to spend their money ensuring that all women have access to regular pap smears, a tool which has a proven track record and is the real hero behind the steady decline of cervical cancer
