If you’ve researched gallstone problems, you most likely came across the gallstone flush. There are many flushes available that you can do yourself, however there is one which is rarely talked about.

But before I give you that information I must alert you to the fact you should never do a gallstone flush unsupervised, especially if you are having attacks. You must be screened to rule out the possibility of large calcium gallstones that might not be able to pass through the bile duct during the flush.

With that said, these next directions must be followed precisely if you want results. This flush is not one you do over 24 hours but one that takes you from Monday to Sunday.

It allows your body to adapt slowly without shocking it and gives it what it needs to melt away bile salt or stones that have accumulated in the gallbladder.

  1. So, from Monday to Saturday noon, drink as much apple juice or apple cider as you can.You may also take your daily nutritional supplements and regular meals. Of course, it goes without saying that your juice or cider should not come from concentrate or have sugar or additives. It’s fairly easy to find non-concentrated juices today in grocery stores, even at Wal-Mart.
  2. Follow number 1 for the whole week right up until Saturday at noon. As usual, have your lunch. Now wait 3 hours for the next step explained in #3.
  3. Take 2 teaspoon of Disodium Phosphate in about one ounce of hot water. Now Disodium Phosphate is not sold through the internet but is available if you call Village Green Apothecary at 800-869-9159. Now some people can’t take the taste, so if you are one of these, then it’s ok to follow it with a little fresh squeezed lemon juice.
  4. Repeat step 3, after 2 hours. That night, you will not eat supper. Instead you may have grapefruit juice, grapefruit or other citrus fruits or juices.
  5. Ok, we’re almost there. Before bedtime you need to do one of these 2 steps:drink ½ cup of unrefined olive oil followed by a small glass of grapefruit juice or drink ½ cup of warm, unrefined olive oil blended with ½ cup of lemon juice ( personally, I prefer this one)

Unrefined olive oil is available at any health food store and even in some grocery stores.

6.  Ok, now lie down on your right side immediately pulling your right knee up close to your chest for 30 minutes. Set your alarm to ring one hour before you normally get up. At this time take 2 teaspoons of Disodium Phosphate dissolved in 2 ounces of hot water. You are basically done now and will continue your normal daily routine.

Tips:

  • If you experience nausea while drinking the olive oil mixture, don’t worry it will slowly disappear by the time you go to sleep.
  • If you can’t get fresh citrus juice, canned or bottled is permissible.

Caution:

Should the olive oil cause vomiting, do not repeat the procedure at this time.

So there you have it. Now it will be for you to watch your stool to see the results should provide you with some pretty colorful results which you can share with your friends as you go about telling them how awesome you feel now.

I will be presenting more “how to do it yourself” recipes in the future. You might want to subscribe to the RSS feed to the right of this post in the Meta area, which will alert you in the future whenever any new postings are out.
