3 Quickies To Ensure Weight Loss…


There is no getting away from it. In order to lose weight successfully, there are some things that you must absolutely do or else, you will not succeed!

Studies are now showing that fat cells produce compounds that promote and trigger inflammation. Chronic inflammation sets the stage for cancer growth. So doing something about your weight is really as important as stopping smoking if you want to keep healthy.

Of course there are many dietary changes that will help you keep your weight under control, but learning which ones work the best, may put the pounds on you as you sit there researching the internet for hours on end.

Consider this post as my contribution to your weight loss program.

1. You must get the sugar out! One of the very worst forms of sugar is high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS). This stuff is everywhere in our food supply and really one of the biggest contributing factors in the rise in obesity.

HFCS got into our food supply right about the time that hydrogenated oils did. Back in the 70’s, obesity rates were stable but began to clink and by 2000 had doubled and is still growing.

We have reached epidemic proportion.

HFCS has been shown to depress the thyroid and lower our metabolic rate. Don’t confuse it with table sugar which releases insulin and leptin that reduce your appetite and help reduce fat storage. HFCS actually sends mixed signals and actually increases hunger and appetite.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I don’t advocate eating table sugar a lot, but it isn’t as bad as HFCS. If you have to choose a product which has either of the two in it, you are better off getting the one with table sugar in it than the other.

So how can you stop or reduce consuming HFCS? Stop drinking sodas and sweetened drinks. Simple!

But not so simple either is the fact that it is in many products such as no-fat yogurt, bread commercial sauces including ketchup. So read the labels!

2. Get some exercise. Ok, you know that you have to work it out or fat will work its way in. So walk, whatever moves you. Just walking for 30 minutes, 5 times a week, provides you with all you need for cardiovascular health and increased longevity.

You may not lose a lot of weight by just doing a bit of walking however, if you’re eating the wrong things. But walking will help your waist size to decrease because it directly affects belly fat, called visceral fat.

The beer gut has been directly linked to diabetes, heart disease, stroke, numerous cancers, gallbladder problems, sleep apnea and liver disease. There are great products that can help you melt this fat away permanently. You can find it here.

3. Get some grapefruit. You will get even better results if you eat half a grapefruit before each meal. There are certain unknown compounds in grapefruit which improve insulin resistance and help facilitate fat loss. If the real thing is not available, you can substitute with an unsweetened grapefruit juice.

It was found that just drinking 8 ounces a day could reduce your weight by 3 pounds in 12 weeks.

What an easy solution!

So there you have it, 3 easy must do’s to really ensure that you stay a winner when you’re fighting in the fat rink!
