Toxins are here  to stay.  We all know that. But a recent study tested newborns for toxins and the results  not only surprised the Environmental Working Group but also alarmed them as all 10 infants tested had about as many toxins in their blood as the adults.

Contaminants like mercury, pesticide, even fire retardant chemicals used in televisions, computers and upholstery, and  Teflon non-stick  cookware were all present in the samples.

Health professionals believe these chemicals play a big role in many health problems like autism, leukemia, brain cancer, asthma, birth defects and infertility.

Even if you reduce exposure by eating less packaged foods, grow your own food and avoid clothing with fire retardant chemicals, you will not eliminate toxins and accumulation will eventually be detrimental to your health.

There is only one sure way to address this issue and it is by cleansing the body of toxins, periodically.

Here’s a video by ABC News reporting on toxicity found in new borns.
