#10 Great Stay Young Tip..
Dr. Atkins was a great proponent of all the tips I mentioned here so far. He was especially fond of what he called: “Clean out your old body even as you’re creating a new one.”
Yes, our bodies are contaminated, be it air, water, or food. Our environment is so overloaded it just can’t take it any more. Neither can our body.
That’s the price we pay for some of the conveniences of modern life. Some of the worst of these poisons are the heavy metals: lead, mercury, cadmium, aluminum and arsenic. Lead is particularly epidemic because of automobiles.
The average person today has to struggle under a burden of lead that’s 1,000 times greater than the level the average person in the pre-modern era had to tolerate.
One of Dr. Atkins suggestion, was to cleanse using chelation therapy. It removes lead from the body. It actually is the standard treatment for lead poisoning.
To have chelation done, a synthetic amino acid, EDTA, is injected through intravenous infusion into the body. A session will usually last for three to five hours and the treatment is administered weekly for a number of months.
There is evidence that chelation protects against cardiovascular problems. This may result from its removal of quantities of iron, which recent studies have pointed to as a very significant risk factor for heart disease.
Chelation therapy is available in certain countries and can be quite expensive as each session may cost between $600 to $2000 depending where you are.
I do believe however, that a lot can be done at home and for a fraction of the cost if you have the right tools at hand.
I have been cleansing poisons from my body on a part-time basis going on 8 months now and have never felt better because I am also replenishing with nutrients my body needs to repair the damage caused by these poisons.
It’s amazing the energy, stamina and recuperative side-benefits I am now experiencing since cleansing, not to mention the fact that I’ve melted 25 inches of fat from my body in the process too.

I challenge you to make your life a masterpiece. I challenge you to join the ranks of those people who live what they teach, who walk their talk.
